As mentioned earlier, our primary goal is to teach our members how to think and act like entrepreneurs. Our secondary goal is to train and help the member choose a business, support them with the up front costs to start the business and partner with them to help insure the success of the business.
There will come a time when you will be ready to go to work. Some of you will finish high school, others either finish college or have to leave college. We will need to decide who we will prioritize and help first. This decision will be based on several factors.
First: How well the member has prepared themselves in convincing us to partner with them in their choice of business. This should not be a big problem if the member has completed our program.
Second: It will depend on how long the individual has been a member with TEC. We also assume that the longer you have been a member, the better prepared you are to become your own boss. Some of you might be attending Middle School or only a sophomore or freshman in High School. You might be telling yourself, "why should I join today when I probably won't be ready to graduate High School in several years." The right time to learn how to think and act like an entrepreneur is today.
As mentioned, seniority of your membership will have it's privileges. If you wait too long, we might not be able to accept any more members. There are also many activities you can participate in during your membership and before you start a business, that can also earn you money.
If you want to one day own your own business, and take advantage of our support and other services. Consider joining today. If you are considering taking one of our approved courses with an outside school and then starting to work, then consider joining today. If you even might want to work for a corporation one day, then consider joining today. Regardless of the path you choose for your financial future, consider joining today.
I am confident that the majority of you will be members for many years. Other benefits of being a senior member will be identified later.
