Start a business

Many of you have been waiting for this moment for a long time. Some of you will want to start a business with us as partners; Some might want to start your own business that is not on our program; Some might want to continue to a technical school that is on our program; Some might want to go to work for someone else (a relative, a corporation, etc.).

Full Time: The first thing you have to do is learn how to think and act like a successful business person. TEC will keep repeating this over and over. If you want to start a full time business with our financial support, then you need to graduate from school (high school or college). TEC requires that you be a member for 6 months. Starting a full time business is a serious matter and besides going through TEC's training program, you will need to choose a trade, learn it, do the market research and prepare the TEC business plan.

Part Time: Many of you will be able to take advantage of home based or internet based businesses while you are continuing your education. TEC understands the need to make money. TEC will give you information on the kind of trades and businesses that lend themselves to this type of operation. You might want to become a TEC Representative or promote one of TEC's many products, services, or businesses. TEC will of course consider those members that are very familiar with our program, be knowledgeable on advertising and promotion, and be very entrepreneurial oriented.

For those of you who have been members for at least 6 months, and have recently graduated school, and want to start a full time business then get ready. As mentioned earlier, you will need to choose a trade, do your market research and complete our short business plan. The primary purpose of the business plan is that you now need to convince TEC why they should go into business with you as our partner.

Some of you will have been members for a couple of years. You might have become members when you were juniors in high school (or even earlier). TEC members that have seniority will have many advantages when the right time comes. Being a successful business person means that you also need to have patience. Everything has to be just right for you to become successful. It will be exciting, interesting, and TEC hopes it will be very lucrative.
